Edward Bodmer,

Managing Partner, Founder.

Prof. Edward Bodmer is widely considered a world leader in corporate and project financing modeling. Mr. Bodmer is the Founder of the Finance Energy Institute where he teaches professional development workshops on an assortment of financial modeling topics including energy project finance. In addition to financial modeling, Edward's advisory activities include developing complex electricity pricing analysis, providing expert testimony on financial and economic issues before energy regulatory agencies, and advisory services to support merger and acquisition transactions and project finance. He has advised companies such as HSBC, GE, ENGIE, ADB, SAUDI ARAMCO, and others.

Stefano Lupo,

Managing Partner

Stefano is a Systems Engineer with over 20 years of experience in the infrastructure and renewable energy sector. During is career he has lead and advised multinational EPC teams on the development of multiple energy efficiency projects and renewable energy initiatives in the PV, Wind, CHP and Hydro sectors. In the infrastructure sector Stefano worked on the development of strategic plans for entry in new markets, market analysis and business planning for M&A initiatives in the EU and North America. He has held positions in companies such as CH2, CMC, Nuclear Solutions and Andersen.

Pascal Schoneburg,

Managing Partner

Pascal joins the Finance Energy Institute as a Managing Partner. Pascal is the Founder of M1K llc and has an extensive background RE sector having provided financial advisory and transaction advisory services as well as expert modelling services. Prior to FEI he worked as an Associate in Tax & Structuring for Marathon Capital Investment Bank and advised several major clients ranging from small domestic IPPs to large international IPPs. Prior to Marathon Capital, Pascal was an advisor for JPMorgan Capital Corporation (“JPMCC”), ”), where he focused on pricing tax-oriented investments (“TOI Energy”) in the renewable energy sector, consisting of individual and portfolio projects of approximately USD 5 billion in FMV. Prior to JPMCC we was at Invenergy LLC, where he directly supported Invenergy’s President, CFO team in efforts to raise over $9 billion for 30 PFs in North America, Europe, and Latin America totaling about 5GWs of Wind, Solar and Battery Storage projects

Ghada Darwish,

Business Development Director

Ghada has 18 years of experience in the private sector representing international engineering companies, equipment suppliers and EPC contractors active in various industries (sugar, fertilizers, bio-fuels and energy). For more than 10 years Ghada was active in multiple projects in the fields of environmental protection, anti-corruption, entrepreneurship, women economic empowerment and innovation of SMEs, many of which funded by international donors. In the period 2013-16, she covered the position of Government Relations and National Communication Expert within the project IMPROWARE, funded by the European Commission. Ghada is a Board Member of the Benban Solar Energy Developers Association
